TERA was founded in 2014 with a commitment to advancing Brazil’s semiconductor industry through innovation, manufacturing excellence, and the development of high-technology solutions. From the outset, the company invested in expanding its production capacity, achieved ISO certification, and began volume production of a range of package types and memory solutions, including TSOP48L, BGA, eMMC, and eMCP.
Over the years, TERA reached significant production milestones, exceeding 10 million integrated circuits produced and introducing technologies such as four- and eight-die stacking and LPDDR4 memory. These developments strengthened its ability to meet the electronics industry’s growing requirements for quality, performance, and innovation.
In 2025, the company expanded its international activities by supplying eMMC solutions to major Chinese smartphone manufacturers. It also joined the Digitron Group and officially adopted the TERA brand. This new phase strengthened its international presence and reaffirmed its commitment to innovation, technological advancement, and the development of Brazil’s semiconductor industry.
